I thought this was an interesting take on the Pride and Prejudice story. The characters were recognisable as the originals, but you develop them differently to tell the story in a new way.
I was a bit confused as to what had gone before in the story, as this is the first excerpt I've read. But I found it intriguing as to what would happen next and how events would unfold in the course of the story.
You've kept the essence of Jane Austen's story and you're telling your way. I'll look forward to reading more.
