It is upsetting that Elizabeth is taking herself out of the social scene in apparent distress over her husband's death -- she appears to have cared for him significantly more than Jane did her husband. That can only mean she isn't interested in Darcy. Just when I thought we had to be getting closer to the exciting parts where Elizabeth and Darcy finally get together. How many chapters until we get to ODC or at least Jane's wedding when ODC will finally see each other again?
