Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I thought I'd seen a similar way of handling Wickham elsewhere, but now can't find it.

I'm working on a longer version of A Haunting at Hunsford, so trying out some stuff that may go into that. I don't think I'm quite hitting the right balance between dialogue and description. Writing romance also doesn't come easily. But I'm encouraged that you enjoyed it.
