Bingley says that his actions were "brave and of good intent". With regard to Jane, he took no action. My problem with Bingley was always his instant belief in Darcy and his duplicitous sisters. He never found out for himself. Personally, he still seems to be a wuss. All that aside, Bingley's voice came through loud and clear. Good story!by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
