Jane's quite bright to figure out the point of the comic even if it was through a dream. I've read some of the sci-fi about it and am not sure I'd realize what he was driving at. You do remember correctly. Elizabeth knows just enough. Her staff is lax because her father allows it, but Sir Adam will not allow it, so she should be ok. I did think about that and decided all he really needs is a hostess who is pretty-and she can be that. Brandon and Major Fitzwilliam know each other. I love these characters and appreciate when you have a chance to add to the story. I can truly see reacting as Anna Margaret is although she has certainly changed in her attitude since first finding out she was pregnant. she's wonderful.
