I swear, I'm okay. Just ... insanely busy, and I do not attend to things as well as I ought! However, ALL OF YOU should be pleased to hear that I am currently working on Chapter 44. It'll get published on Kindle, eventually, and not quite the format that's on Dwiggie. I have, after all, improved my writing and plotting skills since this started. I haven't gotten as good a polish on the first biby JessicaS - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Author's note: Because I am terrible at tracking time, apparently, and this has been such a long time between posts after I said I would endeavor to do better about that ... here's three chapters at once. The staid Miss Mary glanced out of the second carriage cautiously before she stepped down a moby JessicaS - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Note: I'm sorry. I have been working on it. Eep. Still not finished. But here's the next chapter I meant to post! Twenty-Eight Elizabeth knocked quietly on Anne's door, and her elder sister cracked the door to peek out. "Oh, it is you," she said, and opened the door to let Elizabeth in. They settled on the edge of the bed. "Jane retired for the evening?" Anne asked. "Quite. I think she wishesby JessicaS - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Author Note: Yes, I'm still writing on this story. I'm through Chapter 34 as of last night. I had really hoped to finish this while I had maternity leave early this year, but ... yeah. I miscalculated how much a baby plus kindergartener would be. I have notes, and bits of scene written out. I do intend to finish. I'm sorry it's languished for so long. Debra Anne had actually beta'd this chapter aby JessicaS - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
