Beautiful Celebrations: Part 3 of 5 - 7 years ago
Hey ladies: Thank you for enjoying these snapshots with me. I've really enjoyed writing them. It's been fun doing these one-shots. I can't quite help myself when it comes to avoiding narrative, either---it's sneaking its way in here. Nikki requested a scene with Elizabeth teaching, and I've managed that. I completely agree, it was great to see the tables turned between Will and Elizabeth, and to have Will see that his wife is just as strong, protective, and tender when he's sick, as he is with her. Hi Lily, Thank you so much for the comment! I had no idea Georgie and Tye were your favorite! That makes me happy to know someone enjoyed them that much, because I remember really enjoying writing them. I know I said I'd only be doing requests for Elizabeth and Darcy, but I will make an exception for you and write at least one Georgie/Tye scene. Author's Note: I said I wasn't sure if I'd manage these scenes in chronological order, but I think I have. I also tried to get the requests in. One person asked for one scene with Georgie and Tye, and another person asked for a scene regarding Nicholas's adoption. I ended up combining the two, so both topics are discussed in one scene. It might show when they decide to adopt him, or it might be after he comes home with them, I'm not sure which. I probably won't know until I write it. I don't have much free time to write these scenes, so they will be very brief vignettes showing scenes in the married life of Will and Elizabeth from the story Beautiful Friendship. Thanks, ladies! I'm actually a little afraid of posting this comment for fear it will create expectations--I could change my mind, or I might just not have the time for it. But I'm actually toying with the idea of posting a tiny Beautiful Friendship-connected short story showing Will and Lizzie's married life. It would be short. Not a proper story, just snapshot. Hmm...the problem might be that you're reading it on your phone?
