Lucy requested several years ago that her stories, including Summer at Pemberley, be removed from our archives.by Amy I. - Tea Room

Sorry, we were notified belatedly as well that our host server company was experiencing intermittent downtime earlier this week. Fortunately, they were able to diagnose the issue and it is supposed to be resolved.by Amy I. - Tea Room
As you've probably noticed, recent updates from our service provider resulted in a deprecation of our message boards. This will be fixed as soon as our Queen Code Gerbil has time. Thanks for your patience.by Amy I. - Tea Room
Harvey's explained the purpose of our site pretty well, and he's also correct in noting that we ask members of the community to post with a real name. I've sent you an email about that, so please be on the lookout for it! Thanks.by Amy I. - Tea Room
If you "like" DWG's Facebook page, you probably have noticed that it's been rather quiet for the past couple of months. Regretfully, I simply do not have the time I used to have to keep the page properly updated. I'm looking for at least one volunteer to help me out with that. If this is something you think you might be interested in, please send me an email and we can discuss further. Thankby Amy I. - Tea Room
I googled "Mary Bennet" and "Guacamole" and this is what popped up... https://www.dwiggie.com/derby/old_2008/crysty14.htmby Amy I. - Tea Room
thedwg.com is still down; in fact, we've yet to hear back from Ann. But it's only been a few hours since we reached out, there are time zones involved, and let us also remember, everyone has personal lives. Please be patient, we really appreciate it. As I indicated earlier, however, you can still access the stories by swapping out the domain name -- all you have to do is look at the URL addressby Amy I. - Tea Room
Some of our older stories are hosted on thedwg.com, which is an alternate site set up by the founder of DWG. As we do not have control over that site, we will reach out to Ann and see if she can provide assistance. In the meantime, those stories should have back-up copies on our current site, so if you just replace "thedwg" with "dwiggie," you'll be good to go. Hi Amanda, The archives have not moved. They have not been updated recently for a variety of issues, to include technical ones. As that was recently resolved, we hope to start moving on the archives again as our schedules allow. Thank you, Amy I.by Amy I. - Tea Room
Hi Lizzy, It sounds like you are working on a great resource and we're so appreciative that you want to share it with the community. Unfortunately, you are correct. Our archives do not really contemplate resources like the one you are working on. The Tea Room (which is searchable) is the best place we have to offer for you to post and share. Thank you, Amyby Amy I. - Tea Room
Oh! I was actually thinking of Nat KC . . . but I guess that just means at least two authors have been able to do so with success.by Amy I. - Tea Room
You should seek the author's permission before starting. We have had one author, to my recollection, do this with success.by Amy I. - Tea Room
I'll find it. I think reposting would only cause disarray on the board that I'd rather avoid. But if you would remember for next time that would be great! (You posted Chapter 1 in two parts perfectly.) Thanks!by Amy I. - Tea Room
You only have to post your blurb with the first chapter of your story.by Amy I. - Tea Room
You post it as two separate posts, to make it easier for your archives to find.by Amy I. - Tea Room
Friends, We can't help but notice that, of late, there seems to be a number of people who've been posting with aliases. We're always thrilled to have new members join our ranks (or even long time members who've decided to take the plunge and come out of their lurker status) BUT, we have a guideline. And that is for all members -- registered or unregistered -- to post with a REAL name. We realizby Amy I. - Derbyshire Writers' Guild

Thank you, Cinthia, for remembering and posting. It's been a hectic week at work and I actually thought today was 2/3, so imagine when my surprise when I came to post and saw that the birthday had already passed. Oops. We are very grateful for the community as well. You guys make this place what it is, and hopefully, working together, we'll have another twenty years (and more)!by Amy I. - Tea Room
Hello, all -- We wanted to give the community a head's up that our web host will be migrating our server to a new one on Saturday, February 18, starting at 23:00 GMT (18:00 EST). This migration will continue through to Sunday, February 19, at 23:00 GMT. As disruptions may be experienced during this time, we wanted to let you know in advance. Thank you.by Amy I. - Tea Room

Whether registered or not, we ask that all members of the community post with a real name. While we recognize this is a unique rule for the Internet, we find it makes for a friendlier community. Please remember that for the next time. Thank you!by Amy I. - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Hi Sarah, If you've strayed completely from Austen, such that it's really more of an original work at this point, it'd probably be best posted at ANI. Thanks, Amyby Amy I. - Tea Room
