I haven't been to the Dwiggie message boards in *years*, but I've happened to pop in just now and am absolutely thrilled to see this story is being continued. If I could pick any WIP at all to have continued/finished it would be this one, with no time for thought required! It's so exciting to see these relationships developed and the mystery slowly uncovered. Thank you so much for giving us theseby Nicki - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Ooh, that was cheeky! My only clue was the whole 'more than aware of his own attractions' bit, I never thought of Henry Tilney as that. (Just popping in for the occasion, glad to see it's still going!)by Nicki - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I agree - as a rough draft it's pretty decent and looks like the start of a good story, but it's very exposition-heavy. We don't need everyone's backstory in one chapter, and some of it has been shown to us as well. A few examples: Lizzy's backstory with George is fine as exposition, but if you were okay with delaying it you could have one of the Bennets explain it to one of the newcomers at someby Nicki - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Well, that's an excellent reason for an interrupted schedule! We'll be happy to see your story whenever you find time to post it.by Nicki - A Novel Idea

I have about 5% trust in Sebastian turning out to be a genuinely nice guy. Jess is not so far off being one of the rabid fans in her merging of S/D in her thoughts. He's too smooth, too perfect. Very Wickham-like.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Yay! You're back! Your story is back! I'm delightedby Nicki - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I assume Isabelle is having her own teary session - but then, I'm not sure why she'd want AM there. Maybe because she's in the same boat?by Nicki - A Novel Idea
I've been looking forward to more of the Charity School series for quite a while! Delighted to see it back, this story looks very promising.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Well, I tend to get them on Kindle, so individual book thicknesses don't bother me so much but I see your point.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Haha! What a great chapter - and so delightful to see you and this story back on the boards!by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Belated birthday wishes - I hope you had a fantastic day! Thanks for this entertaining piece. I don't think we'll ever see eye-to-eye on Mansfield Park, but that's okay If you enjoy the webseries format, you might consider watching 'From Mansfield with Love' which is a really good modernisation of MP and does a great job of showing Fanny's character development and emerging role within the Bertby Nicki - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
This story was charming, and I liked Gerard's realisation that he doesn't want an ethereal wife as much as I liked Laura keeping her head and forcing him to get to know her a bit before accepting his proposal. I think these short stories would be good to publish in the same volume as Sins of Society, rather than having their own book. By the way, we haven't heard anything of the Campbells and Diby Nicki - A Novel Idea
So nice to have another story here so soon! And it'll be fun to watch it in parallel with Jane's story. I like Laura.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
I think this has been one of my favourites of the Jane/Caleb series! Very much enjoyed these chapters in particular.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Like Radcliffe, I'm curious to see what his words will prompt!by Nicki - A Novel Idea
And I'm back to constantly refreshing the boards looking for a fresh update. You make your stories very compelling, Sarahby Nicki - A Novel Idea
I love that you have so many mysteries happening at once! They make the story more exciting, because they confuse each other. I'm enjoying seeing Beau Popham back again, too.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
I'm always eager for new updates on your stories Sarah - you have a devoted reader in me even if I don't much like to comment on stuff these days. I'll be buying it when it comes out on Kindle, tooby Nicki - A Novel Idea
Yay, Jane is back! This looks promising - I shall enjoy watching their London adventures unfold.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Oh, I'm so glad there will be more Jane and Caleb! Will you be continuing the charity school series as well, do you think? I especially loved seeing the school in action and the antics and adventures that took place there.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
Well, that got dramatic! Can't wait to hear about the rescue, I'll be back to frequently refreshing the page on my phone to checkby Nicki - A Novel Idea
I think this is a very good and well-cited description of Mrs Phillips's vulgarity.by Nicki - Tea Room
This chapter reminds me of an incident in my first year as an undergraduate in London - in the halls of residence next to mine, a boy jumped out of a first floor* window (allegedly because his girlfriend had dumped him) of a typical Georgian style house and landed on the spikes of the area railing below. Thankfully in this case he survived. I've been loving this story! I suppose it's all drawingby Nicki - A Novel Idea
I really am loving this story, and have been looking eagerly at the board for the next chapters to be posted.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
I do feel very sorry for those little girls! I hope you find a way to rescue them from such a horrible upbringing after making us sympathise with them like that I'd love to see the nasty mother and creepy uncle get what they deserve. Happy to see Toby flourishing (in both senses) and saving Mary in her moment of need, too.by Nicki - A Novel Idea
I'm enjoying both storylines so far, but especially Mary's handling of those two little girls and their despicable mother! Can't wait to read more - I'm so glad you're back. Hope your health improves and your life becomes less difficult soon, and not just from a selfish point of viewby Nicki - A Novel Idea
