I looked a few times this morning (I'm in Australia) and saw that you had repeated the earlier chapters. So now I am very pleased that we get to read this exciting new instalment! Cricket bats quite often feature in stories of self-defence. Very useful. I do like the way Kitty is maturing from one of the "silliest girls" to an alert, inventive, and strategic heroine. Courageous too! And I love the way Lizzy let slip "our children"!
