I somehow both love and wonder at the naivety she exhibits. She doesn't have a suspicious bone in her body - only a gut feeling of right or wrong that she ignores easily given any semblance of an explanation. As many people told her, and now her brother, it's in a sense a gift. I also love reading her passion about her job.
What I don't understand is how she made the choice for nursing. Why not doctor? Why not physio? It's an unimportant detail, but so far I see her passion for helping the suffering person and not necessarily for nursing vs another medical profession. Perhaps the answer is just that: nurses are the ones with the closest and longest contact with the patient and maybe that's the reason. I simply read her passion but feel that I miss that little nugget of info on what drove her to this passion. Or is it not a passion but simply a life prescribed by the parents years and years ago? If the latter, good girl that she is, she hasn't discovered herself yet...
