I prefer to like James Morland. He ticks off the Honorable Man and Jilted Lover spots on my bingo card which are v sympathetic, likeable spots. But I forget that he's also Annoying Family Member and Seriously Blind in canon. I have a feeling that it will be hard for me to feel too bad for him when EAN reaches the jilting but I guess that's what makes him such a great & versatile character.
