Wow! What an event-filled chapter. BTW, I also am checking almost daily for the next chapter. Poor Anne -- I kind of felt she wouldn't be able to stay in that spot for the duration! But I so hope for her continued safety and wellness, so hope you don't take us on too many bumpy rides. I also do hope that the poor Colonel will completely recover -- poor big oaf!!
