is a pretty strong contender. I can't help giggling at those lines!

I like how Frank Churchill finally starts doing some of the right things in this chapter. He's finally putting paid to the talk about him and Emma (including confronting his aunt!), and naturally he can't talk about Jane since the Colonel has sent him away. After 8 chapters of seeing him as pretty spineless, it's a relief to see.
