I was amused by the friends conspiring not to show Jane or Lizzy any special attention so that Mrs Bennet would be kept at bay----Not that it completely eliminated her bad behavior. *sigh* Too bad that Darcy had to hear so much of it.
I can't tell whom you may have chosen to be Mary Bennet's ultimate partner--the crop of young men we've seen so far don't quite seem to match her focus on philosophy. Surely she, being kind and thoughtful, would be a better partner for Charles Musgrove than his canonical Mary Eliot, but I'm less certain that he would make a satisfactory intellectual partner.
The wrongheadedness of Sir Walter & Elizabeth Eliot is also amusing in a sad way. They, like Mrs Bennet, are people who unknowingly thwart their own wishes.
At least Anne & Frederick have started their HEA!
