Oh what a chapter of accidents! And yet for all that, at least she's finally admitted her feelings and they've come to an understanding (of sorts). I thought the Miss Cornish story would turn out to be something similar (very like Anne of Green Gables and Gilbert, again!) I'm a little surprised that Elizabeth tried to justify herself and her terrible mistake to him since it seemed like she'd come to the conclusion that her mistrust of him was unjustifiable and very stupid of her. But it's hard to think about any of that when I'm just so glad that they're finally on the same page, as it were. Now they really do need to talk, for real, hopefully without any more accidents or mishaps!
