I've always thought one theme of Pride and Prejudice was how isolated Elizabeth was (physically in some sense, but especially in not having intellectual equals) and now you have placed her in the very meaning of the word: on an island!
I'm looking forward to this meeting with Darcy at the pond and what you have in store for us. Something both awkward and thrilling and highly embarrassing, I suspect. But not as amusing as your pond scene in Adventures at Morecastle (you do make good use of ponds! haha). It would be funny if it turns out Moore's pond is only waist deep.
