Re: Hunsford Tales. Reminiscing

Ah, some insight Amy. (-:

My reason for the Hunsford Tales was basically so that by removing focus from P&P and tucking Mr Collins and Charlotte away from interfering with the general story - an idea occurring after the first Mr Collins "revelation" - I could add a little character to both, although mainly the good reverend but take nothing away from the Austen version. He will still be ever Mr Collins, but being now married, Charlotte must have some influence on making him a more personable if not totally sensible soul. The Tales have to be reasonably short and also stand-alones, with no attempt to be contiuous or particularly linked. As such, they need a few local character additions like the Dawkins family etc, and you can't have Hunsford without Rosings so Lady C must make a few guest appearances. Mainly amusement is the theme, but the odd flashes of reality need to occur occasionaly. (-:
