I remember very much of this story, but not the title. In it, Darcy doesn't want the Bennets, particularly Elizabeth, to know he found Wickham and bribed him to marry Lydia. He asks a friend of him, an officer called Dashwood, cousin to Elinor and Marianne, to take credit for finding them and helping them to marry, with the excuse that he was a friend of Wickham and wanted to help him. Captain Dashwood doesn't like the idea, but Darcy convinces him to accept. He then meets the Bennets, and falls for Elizabeth and she for him. He had recently inherited an estate from his uncle, which he divides in two, giving his younger brother a part of the estate, about 30% of it, if I remember correctly. He asks Elizabeth to marry him and she accepts, but first he tells her that he didn't found Wickham and Lydia and had nothing to do with them, that someone he can not name asked him to take credit for the recovery of Lydia and her reputation. I believe he first asked Darcy permission to tell her that. Darcy tries to win Elizabeth too and makes her his second offer, I believe, but Elizabeth turns him down again. I remember how the story finishes, and there is a sequel, where Elizabeth's first daughter is a teenager, but I won't say more in case someone reads this description and wants to read the story if it's still available.
