Hi, people. I'm looking for a story I read many years ago in this site. Bingley is walking with Darcy in London after their removal from Hertfordshire, when he sees Jane Bennet. He goes to talk to her with a reluctant Darcy behind, and discovers that she visited with his sisters and they didn't told him that she was in London. Darcy has some remorse that he concealed her presence too, but he's more worried that Bingley will pursue her again, which is exactly what Bingley does. He begins visiting with her at the Gardiner's home, and he brings Darcy with him to try to ascertain her feelings, but Darcy stops watching Jane when Elizabeth enters the room. Mrs Gardiner realises, by watching his reaction at seeing her, that he's much taken with her, while Elizabeth is as oblivious of that as ever (she hasn't gone to Hunsford to visit with Charlotte yet).
I believe the story was called A Chance Encounter or something like that, but couldn't find it with that name. It's very likely that it was removed for publication but I dont know how to find it,and right now I would like to remember the name of the story and the authoress.
Thanks in avance.
