I watched the first episode & I was disappointed by Davis’ characterization of Sidney Parker. He tried too hard to make “another Mr. Darcy” only worse. Not sure yet if I want to watch the rest... perhaps I have been prejudiced by reading the version of Sanditon that was completed by Another Lady — (the first 11 chapters by Austen being left untouched)
