I haven't listened to them but there was some discussion about the abridged vs. unabridged audiobooks on a GoodReads discussion board for Georgette Heyer fans about a year ago (?). I could probably find it if you want the link. From what I remember, most loved Richard Armitage's reading but said that some of their favorite bits had been culled. Not sure why anyone would need to abridge her novels-- unless it was to remove references that might offend modern readers, perhaps? Anyways, I believe that there are audio versions of most if not all of Heyer's books on Audible. I have a long road trip coming up-- thanks for a good idea for entertainment!
