This Persuasion continuation featuring Elizabeth Elliot and a roguish Admiral was once posted here in its first version, and was published years ago. Now it is being reissued at a rather lower price, so far Book 1 of the trilogy (So Rough a Course) only, with the other volumes soon to follow. Laura Hile used to post here as Laura Louise. The original version was in a non-canon AU setting, but the published version is in the canon universe. I can only recommend this humorous and heartwarming story in which there are balls, moonlit gardens, disguised identity romance, dashing Navy officers, and a number of secondary characters from Persuasion and other JA novels fleshed out. I haven't been able to buy the story at its previous price and am very glad of the opportunity to read it now. I though others might be interested as well.
