I am seeking interest in a story I wrote, long enough ago, to knock off the dust and post it to the Board for the Fantasia Gallery.

The Bennet sisters are making ready ready to go into Meryton for general purposes and see their Aunt Philips. In another part of the universe, it is 1943, where my character, a Black Sheep on a hot streak, lose his situation awareness and has a Zeke undercut him and that Japanese 20mm rip Hartline's Corsair in the belly. As he head for splashdown, a time slip grip his Corsair and take it, with him in it, to Hertfordshire, c. 1811. The effect of the time slip is renewing. The Corsair is "show room" new, but the battery is stone dead and the engine is off. Hartline has the knowledge and experience to make a dead stick landing, but find out that he does not have the sinew and grit of his hot rock past. He set his plane down on the road in front of Longbourn, and soon the girls come upon this strange thing in their unavoidable notice, and meet a man of the future.
Any want to Beta it or give it a cold - eye proofing? I have tried to avoid a few spoilers...
