It's October and that means Halloween's coming up and THAT means: it's time for our annual

Jane Austen October Gothic Horror Nonsense Challenge!

I'm sure you're all excited to know about this year's theme. So without further ado, here it is:

The rules for the challenge are very, very simple:

1. Adhere to the rules of the DWG.
2. Write something, anything with amnesia somewhere in it. (A one-shot if you please.)
3. Don your fancy costume, i.e. horror name. (Also, put your proper DWG name in the AN at the top so that our lovely mods know who actually wrote the story and know where to archive it.)
4. Post on the 31st.

Have fun with the theme!

Nota bene: Previous years' stories can be accessed by searching the archives for 'Halloween'. Though I should warn you. There's a lot of randomness and insanity in those stories. Also, the occasional death because it is a Halloween challenge.
