Hello, dear friends,
I know I haven't been around much lately, except occasionally on the discussion boards, but I have been working, every so slowly, on several stories. I have one that is nearing completion, but I'm struggling to find the motivation to finish it, so I thought it might be time to ask for some help. I've had excellent betas in the past, but it's been so long since I've worked with any of them that I don't feel I can just assume that they're still available. I really need betas for all purposes--to proof read, to give feedback on storyline, pacing, tone, etc, and to motivate me to finish. It's summer, and since my kids are out of school I am at home with them, which seems as a good a time as any to make a push. This story stands right now at a little over 37,000 words and probably needs anywhere from another 5-10,000 to finish it out. Once this one is done, I have others, both long and short, that are far from finished, but still pretty significantly advanced.
I have everything in Google docs now, so that should make sharing simple.
