I haven't posted anything in years because I'm too busy to ever finish anything, except for some stories started by other people! A couple of them got under my skin so much that I did get them finished for myself, but the dozen or so things I've begun... Since I don't want to put the same monkey on the backs of others I keep waiting for my muse to get me through something of my own, though I've kind of given up on that happening until I retire (and since I'm waiting for my father to do so at almost 90 and we have a lot in common, I'm not holding my breath).
There are some authors I trust enough to read even though I know it's a work in progress, such as the author of "Keeping Calm" (on another site), which is approaching the length of the Encyclopedia Britannica and might not even be half finished, but for the most part I also restrict myself to completed works (so I won't find myself furiously typing into the early hours to 'see how it comes out').
