I am acquainted with only S&S, P&P, and
Emma. S&S has Elinor's and Marianne's couplings, for 2.
P&P has Jane's, Lizzie's, Lydia's giddiness, and Charlotte's satisfactory situation, for 4.
Emma has Anne "Miss Taylor," Mrs. Elton's giddiness/idiocy, Jane nee Fairfax, Harriet's, and Emma's for another 5.
If I have done my adding right, there is eleven possibly happy couples out of three novels.
Now, as to the male scoundrels, we have Wi Wi (say that with a short "i" sounds), Wickham (P&P) and Wiloughby (S&S). If I had only one bullet to shoot them, I would have to choose a .41 Mag, and hope I can put it through the ears of the first and hit the second. A black powder ball from a pistol does not have the muscle, and until Colt's percussion cap, c.1845, repeating was done by a second pistol.
