I'm actually a little afraid of posting this comment for fear it will create expectations--I could change my mind, or I might just not have the time for it. But I'm actually toying with the idea of posting a tiny Beautiful Friendship-connected short story showing Will and Lizzie's married life. It would be short. Not a proper story, just snapshot. Maybe even just one scene. Maybe just a few paragraphs.
I know there's no word count requirement, but I'm a little embarrassed to post something so short. I just don't have it in me to write full length Jane Austen fanfiction again---Beautiful Friendship used every P&P idea I will ever have. Plus I liked where Beautiful Friendship ended. But rereading the piece gave me an idea for a short story, so...a short story could happen. If it does, you have Crysty to thank. She archived the piece, which got me rereading it after a very long absence.
So a short story might be coming. I emphasize the word short.
