Next year May we'll be travelling to London for the European Championships and I've been looking into how to get there. Train and plane are about equally expensive, so it will come down to the extras.
If we land at Stansted at 8:10am, how long will it take to collect luggage, get to train and board train? The train takes about 49 minutes to Stratford, but the transit time is what may decide what we do. Transit time from Eurostar to underground is probably considerably shorter, which may reduce the time difference between plane and train.
