I had not gotten round so far to writing a blurb but this one is simple. Darcy, on his ride to Pembereley in the summer of '12, has his horse lose a shoe and his arrival is delayed foor several hours. He never learns that Elizabeth visited, never found out about her changed opinion of him, she never learned about the changes in him and he did not learn about Lydia. No rescue of her was made and D & E do not meet again for eight years.
