Assuredly I agree with Alida. My eyesight is far from being what it was, yet my hardback copy of Pride and Prejudice, small though the text may be, I have little trouble at all in reading, as in any of her novels, and I've worn out a few copies over the years. Jane Austen is an author who wrote her works by candlelight, rode in a carriage and went to the very balls she describes. She needed no references but wrote about life as it truly was back then. To change any of that and deprive oursleves of that experience would be criminal.
