Mum is an enthusiastic fan of mine and likes me to write all I can when I have time. She's only physically needy now, there was a time when the stroke [and some medication] had caused personality problems which was what was so exhausting, brain wise.... she was a demanding old woman and not lime my vivacious Mum at all! now she's busy discussing plot developments with me! As a teacher all her life she was pleased to help with the personalities of the little girls in Elinor's Endowment, and she is rubbing her hands in glee at the idea of more Jane and Caleb.
