A Matter of Choice, by Sophie

Just finished re-reading this wonderful story (A Novel Idea archives). Regency period, with a wonderful range of characters, motivations, misunderstandings to envelope you. Beautiful descriptions of people and place, and realistic dialogue. Thank you Miss Sophie!

I loved it!

It's my favourite Regency stand-alone novel here! Calling it a mere story is quite an understatement, given how well-thought and executed the plot is, how great are all the characters, both the main and secondary ones. I have it saved on my e-reader and periodically go back and read it, especially when I need something really good after a DNF book.

Sofie is very talented, she has quite a way with words. I remember a few instances in AMoC when I got all teary-eyed while reading some very moving scenes. And, Sofie, if you're out there reading this, please, do consider updating "Double Trouble"... I'll be here waiting, whenever you find the time to write again :)
