'Here we go again' thought to golden apparition as his passed between two different states of existence. He had left his human form lying dead upon a battlefield, still holding a flag in one hand and a rifle in the other. As soon as he was completely clear of his human form, the golden spirit was joined by three other souls. The golden one chuckled at his companions, all three so different but drawn together as tightly as the strands of time. Each of them glowed with the own personal shade, green, blue, and purple.

The green shade was the first to communicate. "Why did you choice to go out in battle? Wouldn't you have been more helpful in the fight against Napoleon if you had remained alive?"

"I think he died because if was so taken with grieve that I had already passed on," the blue one informed in his cocky manner. The green one's glow turned from light to dark clearly showing what she thought of blue's manner.

The golden one rolled his eyes, or at least would have rolled his eyes if he had any at the present time. He sent a message to the purple light saying some thing to the effect of 'Do they ever stop?'

Purple made her response by addressing the to combatants, "You two calm down, we are all friends here."

"He started it," Green replied defensively.

Blue had the urge to stick out his tongue at her. 'Drats,' he thought, 'sometimes I missing being solid.' Since he was differently not whole he settled for the next best thing. "I can't imagine to what you are referring, I am always a perfect gentleman," Blue said quite seriously.

"You are just sore the I choice him," referring to gold, "over you our last life time."

"Well..." Blue was cut off by gold making his presence felt.

"The two of you need to quit that bickering, you need to get over this or you will never get to end this cycle."

The cycle to which gold was referring was that of reintegration. Until each of them completed the things they had yet to accomplish during their various life times, the very doomed to continue to be reborn. Each had something different to overcome, Blue had to overcome his pride, Green had yet to find her one true love, purple had to learn to give all of herself to one person instead of given a small piece off herself to everyone, and gold had to learn to make his own decisions.

They had all been through the cycle again many times, but each time they agreed to meet up again later in life. They often were friends, siblings, and occasionally two of them would get married. One time the four had ended up enemies, and after that trip to earth they all vowed never to let it happen again. This last time Blue and Purple were brother and sister and Green had chosen Gold over Blue as her husband. It was time to plan once more.

"So, who are we going to be this time?" Purple asked.

"Well," responded Green, "I think at least two of us should be related, it will make it easier for us all to meet up later."

"Yes, I agree," chimed in Purple

"Well, I am not going to be related to her." said Blue indicating Green.

"How about Purple and I be sisters?" Green suggested paying no attention to Blue. It was all agreed and Green and Purple went looking for a prospective family.

"OK, Golden boy," Blue drawled, "I will not be French, Dutch, or poor."

"What is wrong with being French or Dutch?" Gold asked although Gold really understood about French, since they had just been soldiers fighting them. Blue gave Gold a look, and Gold remembered the unfortunate experience Blue had one hundred years ago with some of those wooden shoes. He gave a meek "Oh."

"Blue, I didn't want to mention it before, but I think this might be our last go around. If we don't do it right this time, we might be stuck in Limbo forever." Blue gave a curt nod, and said, "Then we had better do it right."

They also set to work finding good families for them to be born into. They gathered their information and got together again to discuss their choices.

"We are to be the first and second daughters of a country gentleman," Purple informed them.

"I have decided to be the son of a wealthy tradesman," Gold said.

"I am to be the son of a gentleman in possession of a large estate. It looks as though my life might be alit though at a young age, but if I have to live again, I might as well live," Blue stated.

    "Who goes first?" asked Green.

"I must," replied Blue, "or I my next opportunity will be to late."

"Go then my friend, but remember, we all have to meet up sometime," Gold said.

Blue began to build up the energy need to enter the next life he had chosen for himself. "Good luck," called Blue. I few minutes later the three remaining beings were able to here the crying of there new born friend. The three others followed as their times approached, and each ventured onto the plant as a new individual. The Green sole watched all her friends depart, and left seven years after Blue.

21 years later, the universe brought together the four beings in are small town know as Meryton. But that is a story that you all know well. You might not know that they all lived for the rest of their lives in contentment and peace for they all found a love that happens only once in existence. At the end of their natural lives, all four of the souls that had last inhabited the human forms of Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy, Mrs. Elizabeth Darcy, Mr. Charles Bingley, and Mrs. Jane Bingley, past into heaven. Here they will remain for eternity for they found their strengths and overcame their weaknesses through the help of each other.

    The End.
