On the carriage ride to Longbourn Lady Catherine fell into a fitful sleep, filled with nightmares of Miss Elizabeth Bennet."

"Charlotte, come quickly I must relate to you my designs concerning a certain gentleman." called Miss Elizabeth Bennet.

"Yes, Lizzy. What is the matter?"

"It is Mr. Darcy; I have decided to trap him into matrimony,"

"What of his engagement to Ann Debourgh?"

"Surely you know by now that I am unfeeling, selfish, headstrong, girl lost of every feeling of propriety and delicacy. I care not that honour, decorum, prudence, nay, interest, forbid it. For I am resolved to have him, even though our union will expose him to the censor of the world."

"But how do you plan to catch a man of such rank and distinction?" asked Charlotte.

"The plan is simple my dear friend. First, I will use my arts and allurements to draw him in by the use of my fine eyes. Once he is under my spell I shall lead him to a clearing that I have selected in the woods of Rosings. Follow me and I shall show you. " With this Lizzy led her friend to an area in a remote part of Rosings.

Once there Lizzy continued relating her scheme. "Then I shall trick him into standing in that spot there." she said pointing to a place near the center of the clearing. "Underneath is a large pit that I have disguised using twigs and various greenery. He will fall into it and be trapped thus. I shall keep them there for several days, feeding him only pudding. The amazing powers of the witch will bewitch him to me making him helpless against my every wish and command. From there it will only be a matter of time before he is mine, completely.

"You a right Lizzy, it is indeed a well thought out and most cleaver plot. You should expect a proposal by wintertime."

With that the two young ladies began laughing maniacally.

Suddenly the carriage lurched to a stop awakening Lady Catherine. She had arrived a Longbourn and could only pray that it was not too late to save her nephew.

    The End.
