I'm sorry I can't recall
who brought it up at all,
but since it was mentioned,
my only intention
is to post, and...umm,
withdraw?? ;-))

(I wrote it a long time ago, found it, had to post sorry!! ;-D)

I proposed marriage with great condescension
While under the misapprehension
That the feeling was shared
But she did not spare
Me in her disapprobation.

Her response cut me quickly and deep
That night not a wink did I sleep
So I wrote a reply
To her bright angry eyes
I am such a big *bleepety bleep*

There can be no justification
Unless she seeks verification
of the info therein
Yikes, am I dim!
My cousin would happily be her consolation!
