Author's Note: Sorry, I've just completely lost my mind waiting for a certain author (Alicia M) who seems to enjoy torturing readers with a certain story (Confessions to a Sleeping Beauty) who is NEVER GOING TO POST A PROPOSAL!!!

    So I wrote my own.
WARNING: Much, Much Silliness follows. Don't drink & read this, or you may have to replace some computer keyboards. You've been warned.

When last we left Elizabeth and Darcy:

After a few more moments of silence, Mr. Darcy spoke again, "Miss Bennet, I believe we were engaged in a conversation at the time the unfortunate news regarding your sister reached us. I would like to resume that conversation at this time if you do not object."

"I have no objection, sir," she replied, which produced a small smile on the lips of her companion.

"Good." Darcy seemed to relax for a second. "Miss Bennet, might I suggest we find a more private location for our 'conversation'?"

Lizzy was perplexed, then her face brightened as she thought of something. "If you would come with me, sir?"

Darcy offered her his arm and was lead by his beloved...behind the stables. While Darcy greatly desired to be alone with Elizabeth, this was not the most picturesque setting. "Here?" he asked puzzled.

"No, no", Lizzy assured him as they traveled further to a deserted field, enclosed on all sides by trees. "This should do. My mother doesn't even know its here and my father is hiding the his library all day."

"What about your sisters?" Darcy asked, taking both her hands in his.

"Jane is in wedded bliss at Netherfield, Lydia is traveling to Newcastle and Mary & Kitty have been forbidden to leave the house except to go to church."

Darcy looked confused that her last statement.

"Papa is overcompensating after what happened with Lydia," she explained. Darcy nodded his understanding. "What about your sister?" she asked.

"Georgiana is practicing piano and will be all day," he answered.

    "And Miss Bingley?"

Darcy reddened. "Well, you know I abhor disguise of any form." Elizabeth nodded. "But, in this case I made an exception. She's on her way to London.

    Lizzy had lost him "London?"

"Yes, well, umm, she found a note under her door this morning, saying I was going to town and asking her to join me for a private meeting."

Elizabeth's eyes widened as she stood in shocked silence.

"I, um, also sent an express to Mr. Collins, from, uh, you, asking him to meet you in the same location at the same time. It's my hope that their little tryst will be discovered and we won't have to worry about them any longer." Darcy was worried. What if she was appalled by his actions?

Elizabeth thought for a moment. "Did you tell them to burn the letters?"

    "Yes."

Elizabeth let out the breath she had been holding. 'He is a genius. How fortunate I am to be marring a genius -that is, if he would ever ask me!' "Well, then, Mr. Darcy, I believe we will not be disturbed. You had something you wanted to say?" She replied demurely.

Darcy knelt before her. "Elizabeth, you must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you. Would you do me the greatest honor and marry me?"

Elizabeth felt tears welling up in her eyes. "Oh, Fitzwilliam! Yes! l will marry you, I love you so," she replied joyfully.

Her eyes never left his, as he stood and took her in his arms. "My dearest, loveliest Elizabeth. You've made me so happy." He held her close while all the DWG readers sighed happily.

Elizabeth suddenly thought of something. "But what about Wickham? Surely you don't want him to be your brother-in-law."

"Not to worry, my sweet. I've made sure he's riding my special horse by some large, pointy rocks," he cooed into her perfect ear. "And don't call me Shirley."

    "But what of Lydia?"

"She'll make a fine widow." He purred. "Enough of her. Concerning us. I obtained a present for you on the way here from Pemberley." He reached into his pocket and gave her a piece of paper. "I hope you don't mind," he breathed into her soft hair.
Elizabeth opened the paper and was surprised (Though none of the readers were) to find a special license with her name on it.

    "Oh Fitzwilliam!"

Darcy (Finally!) lifted her chin and kissed her, gently at first , then with an increasing adore. "If you think," he growled as he nuzzled her neck, "I am going to wait one more night to be wed to you," he licked her collarbone, "you are quite mistaken, my darling." More kisses followed. "The readers have been waiting though 18 chapters and need a wedding-badly!"

Elizabeth could barely think. Her body was responding so violently to her beloved's attentions. She suddenly had the notion to put on some tiny undergarments. But being that this is not being posted to the HG page, she instead caught her breath and suggested that they go and find her parents, so that they could be wed immediately.

"Oh, but what about the wedding clothes? Mama will be quite put out." Elizabeth wondered.

"I'll buy you a warehouse, Lizzy. Let's hurry." He swept her up on to his saddle and together they hurried to Longbourn, where everyone was surprised. Her father was sorry to be losing her, her was mother glad that she would be rich, and before noon they were married in a beautiful ceremony during which all the DWG readers cried.

They had a great wedding night, followed by a lifetime of great nights and lived happily every after!
