Elizabeth Bennet couldn't believe it! Her parents were actually going to do it. They were going to follow through with their plans to send her to Hawaii! Elizabeth closed her eyes and remembered the conversation with her parents a couple of weeks ago.
"Lizzy how did this happen?!" Lizzy just stared at her father with a blank face and said nothing because there was no way her parents would believe her innocence.
"Why did you shoplift?" said Mr. Bennet.
"Did you think you could get away with it?" added Mrs. Bennet.
"I told you I didn't steal anything!!" she shouted.
"Lizzy I don't want to hear it! We're very disappointed in you." Mr. Bennet sighed.
"If something like this happens again were going to send you to Hawaii to stay with your aunty Shirley! She'll teach you the discipline we aren't capable of giving you!" shrieked Lizzy's mom.
