The 2005 version is not all bad--it better captured Lizzy's horror/humiliation at being found at Pemberley by Darcy than the 1995 version, and IMO the casting of Lydia was perfect. She actually looked like she could have been a precocious 15 year old, and it was good to see the age difference between her and Wickham so clearly. I liked seeing Lizzy, Darcy, et al in church at Rosings, and the wayby Amy P - Tea Room
Maria would probably have been contented enough had she never met a Henry to cut up her peace and make her want more. Maria married Mr Rushworth for all the wrong reasons: spite towards Henry Crawford, pride that no one should know how Crawford hurt her, and a desire for freedom and all the advantages that marriage, especially marriage to such a wealthy man, would bring. I don't know, perhaps my expectations were too high but I was a little disappointed. Some of the dialogue was extremely unnatural, but perhaps that is her style, to have a lot of information given through dialogue--monologue almost at times--as opposed to the narrative voice. I haven't read anything else by her so I don't know, but I found it a little jarring. However, it is an interesting storyby Amy P - Tea Room

Well, he proposed marriage to E only after Anne's death I think Jessica was referring to canon Darcy when she wrote this, not the Darcy in her AU story. --- Mrs Jenkinson's story was interesting--I don't think it makes me feel much better abby Amy P - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
