A cliffie! That's just downright cruel. Is Lizzie to remain dumfounded for a whole week? Please have them straighten this out before the assembly. Or will Darcy be the ass that we all know he can be? Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
What time is dinner? I hope I can wait that long! I think Mr. B invited just Darcy to dinner. He would have told Lizzie if he invited the whole Netherfield party. He doesn't seem the type to think of those things. Now, Mrs. B is another matter. Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
All in all, I would rather it been an April Fool. But, your characters acted true to form. Well done!by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Let us keep our fingers crossed and remember that today is April 1.by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
From the Kitty we just read, I don't think she'd want to stop the elopement. I think she'd want to go along - LOL! And, Wickedham, with a chance to get to two birdies, he'd agree. After all, every young girl needs a chaperone. Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Very, very well done! I especially liked the line from the S&S movie (or miniseries, or whatever it was) - it fit perfectly. I hope they can get back quickly - I want to know what everyone will say. It should be very interesting! Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
What a wonderful chapter! I loved the proposal after horrifying Caroline with the possibility. And, Knightley-esque is the perfect way to define Darcy's set down. I think the best we can hope for Caroline is an apology to Darcy and a continuation of her pursuit! Can't wait for more - Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Are you sure this is over? I'm sure Caroline would go on writing in her diary. I'd love to know if she and Jane ever become closer, if Lady C and Darcy would come to visit at the same time, etc, etc. This was a lovely and at times hilarious tale! Thank you... It's great to have something to laugh at on a Sunday evening when I have nothing to do!! I wonder what will happen at their next meeting!? Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Thanks for a great story. Too bad Darcy didn't throw the bonnet out before the ceremony! It sounded too hideous. Hope you're working on something else for us.... Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
This is wonderful! Anne is hilarious and the poor Colonel and his vapours! Darcy seems a tad quiet, though. And - Lady Catherine - Why she allows her daughter to wrestle is beyond me. I thought she would have a heart attack! The Colonel watching Anne wrestle was terrific - I could almost see him drooling. Where can you go with this? Anywhere you want. Just don't leave us hanging for too long -by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Must not dring tea while reading diary - was in great danger of spraying screen and keyboard with it! Beth1by Beth1 - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
