Very cute chapter. "Reggie's non-existent charm." THAT was funny! ~Lynaeby Lynae - A Novel Idea
Wow! This is fun! Now I understand the title much better. I, also, would like to suggest Andrew as the most likely candidate. Although with Albert's obvious impishness, perhaps he is the better choice. But I feel his deceit of Felicity bordered on rather wicked, as if he could not stomach the idea of his brother having any sort of admirer, and sought to transfer any feeling, however minimal, to hby Lynae - A Novel Idea
Oh! How could you? I am absolutely devastated! You ended it the only way you could, I suppose, and it was appropriately heart-wrenching. I think the sequel had better come soon, though! I also like you working title. Mine are usually just initials that mean something to only me, and confuse editors. :-) Yes, Darcy needs to come back to Elizabeth very soon. ~Lynaeby Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I saw it and thought: a) she is hoping D. is still watching, and subconsciously really wants him to like what he sees or b) (less likely) she has been hoping-against-hope for the last three days that he really would answer her voice mail in person. But, I did indeed think "Hmmm, when I do a movie night with girlfriends, they're lucky if my hair is fixed, not to mention a gorgeous shirt, and preby Lynae - Tea Room

Something this delightful needs a sequel. I enjoyed every moment of this, and it. cannot. end! :-)by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
If "The Bat" is the author of TWOTCOA (think I abbreviated that right) I might just die of laughing. THAT idea is the most hilarious thing that I have ever thought. But it still might be Anne. I am now thinking that it is most likely not Paul. Although I hate to see this end, I'm dying of suspense!!!! ~Lynaeby Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I. Am. Very. Intrigued. And I like Caroline Bingley, and I like a Bingley portrayed as mysterious, and intelligent enough to be a contestant for Batman. I generally get pretty sick of stupid Bingleys, and snotty Carolines. This is refreshing and absolutely fun!by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
A simple prayer over a single star brings an amazing miracle.by Lynae - A Novel Idea
This is a one-shot that I scribbled down (on paper, no less) and wanted to get some public opinion on. Please comment with any constructive criticism! And, since this is a one-shot, this will be my first completed! And my first on ANI! ~Lynae She gave the bookshelf one final swipe with the dust cloth and returned it to the closet. She slipped her pile of books into her bag, and poked her heaby Lynae - A Novel Idea
Finally, the loveable idiot! Please update again soon!!!!! I'm now in a worse condition than I was before you updated! ~Lynaeby Lynae - A Novel Idea
After previous posts, I've had a few questions, so I'm just going to address the bulk of them here, as a friend suggested. No, this is not a Lizzy/Darcy story. It is slightly "Lost in Austen"-esque, although the idea was conceived, and the first chapters written before I had heard of Lost in Austen. Secondly, yes, all of the characters that belong in Regency Era England make it back to Regencyby Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Finally, seven months later, the next installment. Hopefully, my life is now sane enough for posting a bit more regularly. I've been getting a few questions in comments that I don't really want to answer, but out of fairness, I will post answers in a clearly marked spoiler in the comments. As always, thanks to my beta beth1! I always appreciate comments! Lynae Through The Centuries Chapter 3by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
In that case, I'm guessing it would be Anne, with PG handling publication for her. Darcy is waaaay too uptight to help his cousin publish "horrid novels". PG, on the other hand, is something else altogether.........by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Okay, now I'm a bit confused. WHO is writing these Athalia books? I am becoming vastly suspicious.by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I think it could! As soon as I discovered that Wickham and Ana weren't gender-reversed, I was actually disappointed. I think what could happen is the female Wickham has *just* discovered her pregnancy by some unknown quantity, and decides to seduce a somewhat younger "Georgiana" with the idea of having him as her baby's father, so his older sister will pay her off to raise the child properly andby Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Neat! But I think Lizzie was just a little mean. At least she did wonder what sort of sweater he was wearing under his coat!!!by Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Aaaaaw! He is sooooo cute. Sharp, too. He will make a good king if he is always that good at reading people and dealing with them accordingly. As always, excellent writing, Suzanne!by Lynae - A Novel Idea
Adoration, and/or enjoyment she would not censure, perhaps, but she was a excellent writer, and I really think she would be quite horrified by the amount of horrible spelling and punctuation that is put into our "revision" of her works. I also think that we don't totally have a good grasp of the Regency mindset of propriety, because then, it was abominable to catch a member of the opposite sex inby Lynae - Tea Room
Yes, I do too, which is why I think it would be interesting to see how others think she would react. I mean, Mr. Darcy in a wet shirt? She would probably swoon.by Lynae - Tea Room
I've only seen this once before in the archives, and I think that it would be exciting to see many different takes on it! So, here is your mission, should you chose to accept it. Write a story picturing Jane Austen's reaction to some of the fan-fics out there, and maybe her take on some of the various movies, etc. Basically, what Jane Austen would think and say in regards to what we've done to hby Lynae - Tea Room
I'm doing a bit of research for my current story, "Through the Centuries" and wanted to ask a few questions. First, What was the average age for a young lady to debut? And, along those lines, what is the absolute youngest that would be socially acceptable for a young lady to debut? Secondly, I'm trying to step away from stereotypes here, but know nothing of real aristocracy. Other than Matlock,by Lynae - Tea Room
I personally think that the comment about his looks won't be as hurtful as the comment about "not being the kind of guy she is into" In the original, E.'s problem had a lot to do with his pride in his social class. Sure, his dig about her looks started it, but certainly didn't finish it. I think it may be the same here. Generally used to being compared with his brother, Andrew probably won't seeby Lynae - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
