Wow! Mr Bennet making sure that Mr Darcy is steadfast. Well, I guess he only wants the best for his favorite daughter.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
"...tossing contrary demands around like handkerchiefs..." One of the things I have always enjoyed about reading your stories are the wonderful metaphors and similes. I do so love your descriptions. :)by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
That was wonderful, and I thank you.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
You had me for a second when you posted 'the end'. Yeah! They're engaged!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
"A young woman of marriageable age, who was not bursting her stays with the effort of gaining his attention, was a novel and rather pleasant experience for him." Oh, how I dearly love to laugh. Great chapter. I'm wondering as well, is Mr. Bennet going to get the gist of who Mr. Darcy is?by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
This is truly wonderful. I'm so glad you are posting it. A breath of fresh story, if you will.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Such a wonderful beginning. Let's hope Simmonds gets herself set to rights. My first inclination is that she is in agreement with the Fitzwilliams on the subject of Darcy's marriage. But I shall wait and see. Love your writing!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Brilliantly done! But I have to wonder on Mrs. Bennets thoughts. Will she be chiding her wayward daughter? Do I even need to ask? ;)by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Elizabeth taking on Lady on Forsythe - this should be interesting. Great to see you posted.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Indeed, I myself am perplexed over the identity of the mysterious Catwoman. And who is the sleeping beauty? Loved the interaction, and how it went from 'Miss Elizabeth; to just 'Elizabeth'.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Are we to think that all the maids and lower class maidens will be after our dear Mr. Darcy now? Oh, how ironic & funny! I can't wait for more of this little treasure!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Excellent premise!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Now I'm wondering if Catwoman is Anne. Wow! So many questions! Our poor Studmuffin isn't much to look at here, even in a redcoat.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
As long as she keeps her mother away Anne may have a chance. I could certainly guess what the Colonel said to keep her away.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So, so wonderful. I really loved this chapter. Glad their understanding of one another is clearer at this point in the story. The descriptions of duty is wonderful too.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I so enjoyed this! Thank you for posting, Jancat! Great stuff here. :)by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So now the dark side of Miss Bingley emerges. Well, at least for now she is keeping her cool. Elizabeth has a great answer that befuddles Mr. Darcy with his demanding request, "Think on it now." - Priceless!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
At this point I am going to guess that the girl is Georgiana/Batgirl, but of course, I have no idea. Miss Bingley would make a great Catwoman or Poison Ivy, maybe she is ensnaring the Bennet sisters here??? Like the others, I have so many questions... and who will Wickham be, the Joker? the Riddler?by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
This story is just so good! Elizabeth must really be exhausted physically and mentally. I really wish at this point Mr. Bennet would take notice and defend her person against Mr. Collins impositions of self interest. I do love a story where Mr. Darcy and Jane have some understanding of what the other is about.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So he did end up buying the tapestry. What an enjoyable story. I loved the ending. Thank you.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So wonderful to see a new post. Isn't it funny how recognition first comes to those who are not directly involved? Does Mr. Darcy realize he is falling in love with Elizabeth? I know Elizabeth at this point is more apt to guard her heart due to circumstances but I dare say she is well on her way to falling in love with him whether she wants to admit it or not. And Mr. Collins thinks anyone oby Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Beautifully written and I loved every bit of it!by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So now I'm wondering about the real estate. What property did his mom own and did she own any of Haven? Glad to see thing are on good track. And glad Wickham's out of the way. Can't wait to read more.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Yeah for the Hurst's! Oh, but poor Darcy. :(by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I have to honestly say that I hope Elizabeth chases after Darcy & gives him an earful. Let Lambton see the love's first quarrel. :)by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So glad to see you back on the charms! Very happy Elizabeth did not fall for Wickham's charms.by Trez - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
