Loving how you write, Bernadette! I couldn't help but notice that Darcy appears to have pressed a cloth to Lizzy's palm twice --- did you mean to do that? “Of all the idiotic things-” she winced. This declarations, plus the host of curses in Irish that followed it, were perhaps why she didn't notice the sound of the front door opening. Or the footsteps down the hall. Or the man himself, until hby Karentea - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
.... you keep calling a steward a stewart? Just curious.... ;)by Karentea - Tea Room
Will you be reading Sanditon as an incomplete novel? I have a copy of Sanditon that was continued by "another lady" after chapter 11.by Karentea - Tea Room
I am really having a hard time understanding what Lizzie said before Darcy said "It would seem to be our forte" (or something like that) and then after Lizzie said why she wanted to be with him.... man! it sucks to be hearing impaired.by Karentea - Tea Room
... with the latest clip, I can't make out what Charlotte said at the end of it... something like "That's okay, I can walk a frame, there are no....." And then I lost it. Help?by Karentea - Tea Room
Fabulous story. You wrote "a chapter full of all that mushy, chick-lit stuff that hard-boiled, taciturn, badge-wearin', gun-totin', two-fisted guys like me always avoid like the plague" very well indeed. :D The Trampling of the Lilies by Rafael Sabatini is one of my favourite books. Thanks for getting in touch with your inner Rafael.by Karentea - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
It has been a few days since I read part 4 so I have forgotten where the "baby sister" ended up. I thought it was only mentioned that McTusan, the cook and the footman were put into the custody of the local magistrate? I wonder, if Eucoir's sister did somehow manage to "slip" away.... hmmmm.by Karentea - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Me thinks the scream might have something to do with Anne and Eucoir's sister.... afterall, where did she disappear to once she brought Anne downstairs for the hatched-up wedding?by Karentea - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Enjoying your texting story. Very much. Thanks for keeping the texts straight by changing the font (italics, bold... etc). One question: what do the /'s mean? I, too, am not up on textverse. One word that jumped out at me as misspelled: when Elizabeth asks if she can have 'desert' I would assume you meant dessert as in something sweet and delectable and not desert as in Sahara. :)by Karentea - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I read a story (the title has slipped my mind), where the author used the word "happily" way too often. I have to confess I found it annoying.by Karentea - Tea Room
I looked at episodes 54 and 60 and the green tops are slightly different (see neckline). Good catch on the pink top though. You have a better eye for that than I do.by Karentea - Tea Room
Considering that she has been seen in 84 different outfits makes it unlikely she is that poor! :) Of course I am willing to be proven wrong.by Karentea - Tea Room
.... I am hearing impaired and was unable to make out the last thing Darcy said before Lizzie shut the video off. Help? Someone? Please? Thanks!by Karentea - Tea Room
I had found out recently that the LBD overflows into Twitter and now I am beginning to think I am missing some pertinent information that doesn't come out in the LBD vlog. Can one watch LBD without going on Twitter for the extras? Or does Twitter fill in the gaps (if there are gaps)?by Karentea - Tea Room
I too look forward to reading a vignette about Lady Chesney's comeuppance.... or worse! :by Karentea - A Novel Idea
