This was a sweet little tale about 2 of my favorite things!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Take care of you and the little one! We can wait.by Debra Mc - Tea Room
I love how Ash challenges Kitty to realize her own potential! Ones that popped out at me: 1) Biting her tongue and realizing she doesn't need to say everything she thinks 2) Thinking of Mary with compassion for her lack of travel compared to her younger sisters 3) Pushing herself intellectually as well as observing othersby Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I see the points you made as a reason for Mr Bennet should point out ASAP that it was Elizabeth. If she, who knows Darcy best, could misunderstand his place at Netherfield, then the neighborhood can't be faulted either. It's a wonderful twist on him not putting himself to much effort to get to know Bingley's neighbors. After all, he on,y visited Mr Bennet because of his interest in Elizabeth.by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Are now in place! Well, I'm assuming Darcy is with Ash? I'm loving the parallel story Shemelle. It is fun ready the same story from more than one perspective.by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
So I had a bit of driving to do today, and found I had Sanditon on my Ipod, so began listening from the beginning. I have only read through chapter 4 so far . . . What really struck me on this listen was how many servant were involved in the first chapter. Its not often we see them in JA's writing. The driver of the carriage is thought to have potentially overturned them on purpose. The menby Debra Mc - JAFF Library
I remember the joy of new babies well, and wish you and your family the best!by Debra Mc - Tea Room
I found this interview very interesting and it answers some of our questions and confirms some of our speculations: Sanditon, etcby Debra Mc - JAFF Library
It's so true! They are being very real with each other. The only real barrier is this misconception about social levels. I can't wait to see how you continue this clever story Heather!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
I hope today has you feeling better! I just love how your force me to look at Kitty differently! And I'm thrilled to know this is a nice long story. Much maturing will happen along the way, I'm sure.by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Of course, I went and rewatched 84 first, and then dove into Darcy's head through your wonderful writing! Thanks for this Shannon - you do a great job of logically filling in gaps left in the LBD worldby Debra Mc - A Novel Idea
I'm ready to move on! The chapters are so short . . . It wouldn't take much to catch upby Debra Mc - JAFF Library
I love this image we get of the man who is so obsessed with his project, that he blabbers on about it on the side of the road with his carriage on its side and himself injured. And as Mari put it - he definitely employs hyperbole! The description of Sanditon as having hard sand, no slimey rocks, no weeds . . . it sounds great! Unless you have lived at the coast and get that that means it mightby Debra Mc - JAFF Library
I really like the idea of keeping our Vlog predictions seperate from discussing Jane's work, so I'm thrilled you brought this up Lise!by Debra Mc - JAFF Library
I thought she would be offended and think Darcy thought little of her in light of Aunt Gardner's see-sawing talk. But I never should have doubted clever Elizabeth! Well written Abbie!! I just love this story!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Just seeing your name was exciting, but the premise, the writing . . . Love it all!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Kitty's cough - I always assumed was allergies or asthma. Since JA wrote that she was "satisfactorily married to a clergyman near Pemberley" according to the Memoir written by her nephew, it doesn't seem she had a dire futureby Debra Mc - Tea Room
Really enjoying this Jack!! As a Lifetime Girl Scout - I am loving Darcy's knowledge from Scotland!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Lizzie doesn't follow Pemberley or Gigi or Fitz . . .by Debra Mc - Tea Room
Pamela Aiden wrote "Young Master Darcy: A Lesson in Honour" Its short - more a novella than a novel, but like all of her work, very well-written. It can be found at Amazonby Debra Mc - Tea Room
This was great!, and I rewatched all the videos just as Darcy did!by Debra Mc - A Novel Idea
So wonderful! I love your writing so much. And I think its the first time I've read when the first kiss was to her nose! Very sweet. --------------------- My beta eyes caught a typo you might want to fix: "No. She would never presume so far. But she..." he exhaled. "She eased my fears that by choosing you, I would harm her. And no other encouragement was needed." I think you wanted it to sby Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
Carol - I forwarded this to her and she expressed interest in reading the article . . .by Debra Mc - Tea Room
Using the log-in info Linnea Eileen provided keeps things "safe" as it only brings up stories that follow DWG's guidelines. There are other log-ins out there that lead to more mature storiesby Debra Mc - Tea Room
My daughter is in her final semester of her MA in library and info sciences. I will pass this on, asim sure she will enjoy it too!by Debra Mc - Tea Room
That was such a lovely bit Suzanne!! Thanks for sharing it with us. I completely understand your reasons for not moving forward with a Persuasion project at this time, and I agree with Meg, that "So Forced a Relinquishment" is a great stand alone. You seem to really "get" CW, so if someday your muse leads you this way, I for one, will be thrilled to read it!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
This was wonderful! Painful and poignant. You write so well Suzanne! And there are not enough Persuasion stories . . . Please consider expanding this or writing another story about Anne and her CW!by Debra Mc - Derbyshire Writers' Guild
