Really a terrific story based on a very intriguing what-if. So what was it about being in Kent that drove Darcy to propose? Absence of her improper family? Her ease in the presence of his family? Jealousy over her friendship with Col Fitzwilliam? All of the above? What will tip the scale for Darcy this time (assuming you don't marry him off to some well-connected heiress, that is)?by Kent - Derbyshire Writers' Guild

Wow, this is unexpected. Shall I cry out against JAFF based on the 2005 movie? LBD is much much much more closely based on Austen than that silly film was. Why not segregate it from the True JAFF? Or anything with Darcy jumping in a pond, or Lizzy saying she'll only marry for the deepest love, or Caroline Bingley always wearing orange? Good grief.by Kent - Tea Room
