I definitely do not comment on the board as much as I should any more, but this chapter just cries out for comments! Utterly superb Suzanne! You have hit the nail on the head with each and every characterization and while achieving that you have also kept them so true to the period and social mores of the time.
Just thrilled I managed to eat my lunch without getting indigestion. I swear my stomach was churning with the sheer anxiety and awkwardness of the interactions in this chapter! I think Jane's advice was a very necessary antacid! :-)
