I did wonder, awhile after I left my initial review, if the situation with Lydia is going to come back to bite Darcy in the butt. She's pregnant and he's arranging to pay for her airfare and for her to see an attorney. In the wake of Caroline's gossip column, are people going to assume Darcy is the one who knocked Lydia up? I mean, I hope the scandal does whatever it is they want it to do to bother Bertram, but I hope it doesn't pull Darcy down with it - or at least that it doesn't cause trouble between Darcy and Elizabeth. I hope I'm not reading too much into this!
