Oh yes, Bingley is right. Darcy is doing exactly that, plotting his chess moves without much consideration to others. It seems like he has not totally been "hunsforded" yet. Perhaps now that he realised he has to travel with Caroline and the high possibility that he could be compromised, might teach him a lesson LOL. And he had the perfect opportunity to hear what Caroline's plan is but he opted out. Bad move!
A question - can the Hursts just leave Caroline under Darcy's care, and allow them to travel to the Lakes? I thought propriety would demand the Hursts to take Caroline along with them.
