I have been fascinated with history and classical literature since I was very young. I was read to from classical fairytale books when I was a child and when I was older, we would read novels out loud every night. It is one of my fondest memories from childhood. Then, as an adult, every Sunday night was spent watching Masterpiece Theatre. I have many favorite authors and stories, but Jane Austen ranks in the very top.
A Man in Want of a Wife Written by MK Baxley.
Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy's point of view; this story explores his emotions, passions, and most importantly, the struggles and conflicts he must overcome to ask for the hand of the woman he has come to love. It begins the summer of 1811 just before Jane Austen's novel begins in the autumn of that same year. Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam have recently recovered Georgiana from a near disaster involving Darcy's old friend from his boyhood.
